This posting serves as notice that a pesticide with a trade name of Bifenthrin I/T and an EPA registration number of 66000-196, is scheduled to be applied on Thursday and Friday, April 24, and 25, 2025 at each elementary school inside the perimeter of the playgrounds. This application is being done to manage ticks as part of our Integrated Pest Management Program to ensure a safe and healthy school environment. Signs will also be posted prior to this application taking place, and will remain at least 48 hours after the application in accordance with the district's IPM plan and in compliance with the Maine Board of Pesticides Control Regulation CMR 01-026 Chapter 27.
